This policy applies to everyone who uses findscan.co.uk and the referrals portal. It forms part of our terms of use.
You must not use FindScan to:
break any law, or infringe anyone's rights, including privacy and intellectual property;
send an enquiry in someone else's name, or with their health information, without their permission or legal authority;
give false, misleading or deliberately incomplete information to us or to a clinic;
copy, scrape, harvest or republish our listings, prices or guides, or build a dataset from them, without our written permission;
use bots, scripts or other automated means to access the site, other than ordinary search-engine crawling that respects our robots.txt;
upload or send anything containing viruses or other harmful code;
try to get into parts of the site, the referrals portal or our systems that you are not allowed to access, or test their security without our written permission;
harass, abuse or threaten clinic staff, our staff or anyone else; or
send unsolicited marketing to clinics or other users.
Clinicians using the referrals portal must also:
keep their login details secure and not share their account;
access patient information only for patients in their care and for the purpose of the referral; and
tell us straight away at hello@findscan.co.uk if they think their account has been used by someone else.
If you break this policy we may remove content, suspend or end your access, report the matter to the police or a regulator, and take legal action where appropriate.
